What is the maximum
number of guests allowed?
250 guests reception style seating, 300 guests reception
style seating (Brazos and Colorado Ballrooms), 400 guests
auditorium style seating.
What does the facility rental
fee include?
The rental fee includes tables, chairs, floor length
linen and a dance floor to accommodate your guests.
Specialty tables can be requested and are usually included
in the facility rental fee.
How long do we have the facility?
The facility is available for six hours of event time,
and three hours of setup time. All events must be concluded
by 12:00 a.m./Midnight. Additional setup hours and event
hours can be purchased.
Is there a security deposit?
Yes, there is a refundable security deposit for any
event. The security deposit ranges from $500 to $1000,
depending on the number of guests.
What is the catering policy?
We will gladly arrange a menu for you, or you can bring
in your own caterer. We do have a list of recommended
vendors, but you are not required to make your selection
from our preferred list. All caterers not on our recommended
list must complete a "Caterer's Agreement"
provided by Austin's Texas Star.
Can I serve alcohol?
Alcohol can be served, but you must have a TABC licensed
bartender serve all alcohol. Proof of certification
is required. We can arrange this service for you. All
alcohol is to be provided by the event holder, and your
guests may not bring in alcohol. Cash Bar options can
also be arranged by our staff. Security is required
at all events when alcohol is served. The numbers of
security officers will be determined by the guest count,
and is arranged by Texas Star Staff.
